Well what do you know?

Will wonders ever cease? For the first time that I can remember, I have finally heard the truth coming out of a politician's mouth. Of course, it turns out it's not a politician in the White House.
Russian President Vladimir Putin runs rings around President Barack Obama “on the world stage,” Mitt Romney says.

In an interview with NBC News published Friday, the former GOP presidential nominee made it clear he’s still no big fan of Obama’s foreign policy.

"I think Putin has outperformed our president time and time again on the world stage," Romney bluntly commented.

Romney took specific aim at the president’s handling of National Security Agency secrets-leaker Edward Snowden and of Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. The former NSA contractor has been granted a year’s political asylum in Russia, where he now lives.

"We are, and I've said this before, geopolitical adversaries," Romney said of Russia. "Not enemies but adversaries geopolitically. And Putin lines up with Assad and gave Assad the cover that he needed and won a diplomatic battle with regards to Syria."
I wrote a post not too long ago in reference to the discussion between Obama and Putin with respect to Syria and who had won.  In a similar post, I remember saying that the countries that are friendly with the USA would not surprise me if they would start looking to Russia instead.  If they needed help on diplomatic problems they would consider Russia, as Putin has shown that his way of using diplomacy has more sense than the supposed-to-be-leader of the USA. Like I mentioned before, because of Putins diplomacy, a lot of trouble was averted with regard to the chemical weapons that Syria has (or had). I say has or had because I haven’t heard or read any more about them wither they were taken out or destroyed.

That’s my rant and opinions of the day.
